Wearing the Invisalign® aligners

Usually 18 to 30 aligners are made for each patient. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, then discarded and replaced by the next in your series. Your teeth move slightly with each aligner, becoming straighter as you progress through your series of aligners. It takes on average nine to 15 months to complete your series of aligners, about the same amount of time it would take to straighten your teeth with traditional braces.
